… Should there be a link in the "resource box section "on his blog, affiliate marketing for a product, or directly to the sales page of the seller?
Hi John, You could certainly make one of these normally, but I recommend you a link to your website that you have more control over it. Firstly, many people to send people directly to the vendor include an affiliate looking ugly url in the bio box. This then shouts "affiliate link" and so many people do click on that basis alone. You can also use a redirect script to work around this problem. Secondly, sending a visitor directly to the seller means that you lose any chance to collect visitor information so that you can promote them again in the future, whereas send them to your own site or even directly on your own squeeze page gives you that chance.
